Meet The Artist
"Hands in The Mud and Feet on the Earth!" Sunshine Synchronicity in Clay is a slow-batch, wheel-thrown pottery studio located in Eagle, Idaho. Sunshine studied ceramics at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and then took a long hiatus from clay until four years ago, when a friend suggested she read The Artist’s Way. In her art-making process, she embraces mistakes, seeks personal growth, and strives to always follow her heart, eager to see where her craft and creativity will take her. Sunshine’s pottery is both functional and sculptural, drawing inspiration from the diversity of nature, with a generous dose of whimsy and color added to bring delight to the viewer. Her primary collections include Potheads and Mountain Mugs. "I love to play in clay, and I hope to make you smile!" You can find her work at Sagebrush Collaborative in Boise, Idaho, at local art markets, on Instagram, and on her website.
